Indian benchmark indices continued to hover in red during the late noon trading session on Thursday after the US President Donald Trump imposed an additional 25 per cent tariff on Indian exports to the US, citing New Delhi's continued purchases of Russian crude oil.

At 14:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80205.27 down by -338.72 points or by -0.42 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24467.3 down by -106.9 points or by -0.44 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 80421.84 and intraday low of 79811.29 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24542.9 and intraday low of 24344.15
