Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading higher on Friday after a three-day decline tracking a positive trend in Asian markets and foreign fund inflows.

At 10:40 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 82042.98 up by 681.11 points or by 0.84 % and then NSE Nifty was at 25008.95 up by 215.7 points or by 0.87 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 82186.37 and intraday low of 81323.2 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 25018.7 and intraday low of 24783.65

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1919.70,+2.35%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3163.30,+2.31%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (Rs. 291.95,+1.97%), Reliance Industries Ltd. (Rs. 1456.00,+1.56%), State Bank of India (Rs. 794.95,+1.31%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Finance Ltd. (Rs. 895.00,-0.52%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 1677.10,-0.34%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1613.80,-0.29%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 12777.00,-0.23%), among others.
