Indian benchmark equity indices BSE Sensex and Nifty50 were trading lower on Tuesday, amid weak global cues.

At 12:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 80571.65 down by -225.19 points or by -0.28 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24385.35 down by -75.8 points or by -0.31 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 80981.58 and intraday low of 80510.15 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24509.65 and intraday low of 24356.75

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 1902.25,+1.97%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 144.50,+1.69%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3060.90,+1.31%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (Rs. 2373.25,+1.05%), Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 2350.20,+0.85%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were NTPC Ltd. (Rs. 341.25,-2.09%), Eternal Ltd. (Rs. 235.05,-2.06%), State Bank of India (Rs. 774.55,-1.96%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1321.20,-1.90%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 831.45,-1.81%), among others.
