The 30-share benchmark index ended at 80796.84 up by 294.85 points or by 0.37 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24461.15 up by 114.45 points or by 0.47 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81049.03 and intraday low of 80657.71 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24526.4 and intraday low of 24400.65
