RateGain Travel Technologies Limited (NSE: RATEGAIN), a global leader in AI-powered SaaS solutions for the travel and hospitality sector, has announced two key leadership appointments. Rohan Mittal has been named the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), while Deepak Kapoor has been elevated to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Rohan Mittal brings over 18 years of extensive experience in financial leadership, business transformation, and strategic planning. He most recently served as Group CFO at Yatra Online Inc., where he played a crucial role in the company's successful listing on Indian stock exchanges. Prior to that, Mittal held senior leadership roles at AllCargo Logistics, where he was instrumental in doubling the company's revenue and driving a turnaround at Gati, significantly boosting its share price in under a year. His expertise in mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and financial governance is expected to support RateGain’s global expansion and its strategic shift toward AI-led innovation.
Welcoming Mittal to the team, Bhanu Chopra, Founder and Managing Director of RateGain, said, “Rohan’s track record of driving growth and turning strategy into action will be instrumental as RateGain deepens its commitment to an AI-first future. We are excited to have him on board and wish him great success in this new role.”
Mittal, recognized as the ‘Young CFO of the Year’ by Transformance and World HRD Congress, and featured in Business World’s 40 under 40 in Finance, will succeed Tanmaya Das. Das, who served as CFO for over a decade, will continue with RateGain until June 30 to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
Expressing gratitude for Das’s contributions, Bhanu Chopra added, “Tanmaya has played a vital role in shaping RateGain’s financial strategy, overseeing key milestones such as our IPO, major acquisitions, and global expansion. His leadership has been crucial in establishing RateGain as a financially robust and resilient organization. As he steps back to take a well-earned career break, we extend our sincere thanks and best wishes.”
In parallel, RateGain has promoted Deepak Kapoor to Chief Technology Officer. Kapoor has been a driving force behind the company’s development of AI-powered SaaS solutions and cloud-native platforms. As RateGain continues to pursue its AI-first vision, Kapoor’s leadership will be central in delivering innovative technologies that empower customers to unlock new revenue streams.
